What You'll Learn
Medical emergencies can happen anywhere and response times for first responders arriving on-scene in an outdoor or remote environment can be greatly delayed. Be prepared for your next outdoor adventure by taking this Intro to Outdoor 1stAid class. This introductory-level class will be hands-on and will take place in outdoor settings (regardless of weather). Topics include Outdoor 1stAid Kit Considerations, CPR/AED (2-year certification included), Bleeding Control (2-year certification included), Manufactured & Improvised Tourniquets, Cleaning, Closing, & Dressing Wounds, Broken Bones, Sprains & Splinting with Malleable & Improvised Splints, Treating Shock, Burns, Heat Emergencies, Cold Emergencies, Bites & Stings, Lightning Strikes, Stretchers & Litters, Evacuating Patients, and much more!
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 5 days in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes canceled less than 5 days before the class will not be refunded.
What We'll Teach
Emergency First Aid Fundamentals
U.S. Concealed Carry Association Training is the nation’s leading firearms training and education resource, but that isn’t all we offer. We focus on learning that makes you a more responsible American and a protector of your family in any scenario. That’s why we created Emergency First Aid Fundamentals.
If you’re ready to become your family’s first responder in an emergency situation, like a car accident, serious fall, gunshot wound, or other medical emergencies, this training cannot be missed.
During this training, you’ll do more than simply sit in a classroom learning about these topics. Your USCCA instructor will work you through a dozen real-world scenarios using simulated patients and the actual products (or field expedients) that you’ll need to understand if you hope to save a life.

- Traumatic emergencies
- Medical emergencies
- Building your own first-aid kit

CPR/AED Certification through HSI, good for 2 years. Bleeding Control Certification. USCCA Emergency 1stAid Certificate. Class is held in the outdoors, in the woods, in the weather, please plan accordingly and pack a lunch.
