TEXAS DPS LEVEL 4 PERSONAL PROTECTION OFFICER COURSE

This course is taught by NPSI instructors with extensive real-world experience providing protective services to executives, dignitaries, celebrities, witnesses, and other threatened persons in low-threat to high-threat environments.

The course covers the State of Texas PPO requirements plus additional NPSI topics, including: PPO Options and Principles, Force Options/Use of Force, Principal Profiles, Defensive Tactics, Advance Work, Route Surveys, Site Surveys, Weapons and Equipment, Threat and Vulnerability Assessments

TCOLE Credit may be awarded.

Students should wear comfortable clothing for participating in defensive tactics, as well as bring a change of clothing for going out to eat. Lunch and dinner will be working meals; students should bring money to eat out.
