What You'll Learn

When South Carolina instituted Constitutional Carry in March 2024, the state mandated SLED to implement a FREE CWP training class in each county at least twice per month. SLED has developed a registration website https://www.sled.sc.gov/cwp_courses, where class dates and times will be listed by county. My class dates and times can be found by choosing Lancaster County. Once you register on my USCCA site, you MUST also go to the SLED link and register, as that is what drives the student roster. To pass this class you will need to:

  • Take and pass a 50-question test.
  • Shoot a Range Qualification of 25 rounds from 5 distances.
  • Demonstrate the proper handling of a handgun to include loading, presenting from a holster, clearing malfunctions, proper grip & stance, and maintaining all universal safety rules. Handguns are not provided, and each student is expected to have a safe and functional handgun, ammunition and holster when they attend the class.

Cancellation Policy: I do not offer refunds once a course has been paid for. However, I do provide a one-time opportunity to reschedule you for a class date that is suitable to your schedule.

What We'll Teach

Constitutional Carry

This course will cover the implications of permitless carry. Topics that students will be introduced to include: relevant laws, use-of-force decision making, and next steps to take.
