What You'll Learn
In this course we focus on time proven and tested skills needed to prevail in violent encounters. From efficiency of the draw, to getting off of the “X”, landing multiple rapid hits on target, alternate shooting positions, shooting on the move, malfunction remediation, cover vs. concealment and much more. We encourage participants of this class to run it in their normal EDC gear, as this will be the likely set up should we find ourselves in a defensive encounter, however battle/duty belts are welcomed as well. This course is not for beginners and students are expected to understand and demonstrate safe firearms handling at all times.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date, in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.
What We'll Teach
Defensive Shooting Fundamentals
This lesson will continue with the basics, including a very visual overview of what we call the “building blocks” or the fundamentals for accurate and safe shooting. Within this lesson, Michael Martin will explain the differences between the skills required for being a good “marksman” at the range, and the skills that might be required to save your life if you are ever the subject of a violent attack.
