VERBAL DE-ESCALATION 101

Class name: Verbal De-Escalation 101 Description: You will always win the fight you never get into. Self protection is just as much knowing when to use force and when to use "soft skills" to avoid conflicts. In this course, taught by certified verbal de-escalation instructor, Dave Chang, you will learn the techniques taught to law enforcement, military, security, medical, and education professionals around the world that enable them to safely deal with aggressive behavior. Topics covered include, but are not limited to, recognizing levels of aggressive behaviors, methods of effective verbal and non-verbal communication, and ways to avoid assault.

Bring snacks and note taking tools. There will be a lot of information presented. Student Limit: 10 people Time: 4 hours Price: $160

Please note, we do not offer refunds. However, if you give us at least 24 hours notice in advance via e-mail of your request to cancel or reschedule we will credit your payment toward another lesson. If you do not e-mail us with at least 24-hour advance notice, you will lose any payments you have already made. Students who do not attend a scheduled lesson are not eligible for a refund or rescheduled lesson. In the event of a true, unavoidable emergency, all or part of your fee may be applied to a future lesson at our discretion. We reserve the right to decline to provide, or stop, the lesson of a student who is prohibited from firearm ownership, appears to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, is unsafe or reckless, or for any reason which we, in our sole judgement, feel may jeopardize the safety or well-being of anyone. No refund will be provided.
