We have all heard the phrase with age comes wisdom, and you grow up pretty quick working inside a prison. I spent most of my adult life following the care custody and control lifestyle of an officer. I served around 8 years of my tenure on special teams including the correctional emergency response team, the Special Response Team, and the Special emergency response team. Throughout my years I have received training in, OC spray, flashbangs, CQC, firearms (the most common tactical firearms), less lethal equipment, AED, first aid, CPR, Active Shooter, attended pa state boot camp in Elizabeth town receiving best pt. cadet. (Barely beating officer Bytner for the run! Miss ya bitty!). My average day was spent overseeing units of over 100 inmates, maintaining order, delivering care, while responding to situations throughout the facility. Cell extractions were always the worst. I have attended Moundsville west Virginia for their annual training on several occasions as well. I hold an award for capturing an escaped inmate early in my career, and overseen the entire buildings operations working central control on overtime and for some of my night turn career. I have saved a few inmates throughout my career, and often miss the good times of being a C.O. I served on our honor guard up until my termination in 2021, was a union steward and elected recording secretary. I was terminated for not getting the EUA vaccine under Rich Fitzgerald’s vaccine mandate. I am still awaiting the outcome of my career, which has pushed me to chase my passion. I have dreamt about being an instructor for years. I aspire to convey the knowledge I gained throughout life, from training and experience as a correctional officer to skills I have gained from training taken at personal expense. From my experiences I have thought up unique ways to train unutilized by mainstream instruction. I intend for these new tactics paired with modern training technology to amplify student’s mindset and abilities at record speed. I have grown up in the same community for my entire life. The situation we face as modern American citizens concerns me deeply, and my goal is to ensure the safety and security of my community and those around us. My instructing focus is defensive shooting, as it has always been my focus. I strive to be as best prepared to defend and protect my family and loved ones as I am capable. I have a passion for and commitment to my community, which is why my prices will be modestly priced. With today’s economy I understand the cost of training deters some from attending. I intend to offer a solution to that, and leave as much as a positive impact on my community as one can.
