What You'll Learn
Over 35,000 people die every year in the United States from uncontrolled bleeding. Many of them would be alive today if someone at the scene had the tools and training to stop the bleed. This class teaches the most up to date training approved by the Department of Defense and US College of Surgeons on bleeding control and immediate trauma response. We will cover scene security and safety, tourniquet application, chest seals, wound packing, equipment selection, everyday carry considerations, and much more— all while placing emphasis on keeping things simple in stressful situations. Whether you are brand new or have taken first aid or trauma medicine classes in the past, this course is for you.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded, but may be rescheduled to a later class date with 24 hours notice.
