Bryan Mumford

Bryan’s lifelong passion for firearms began in childhood, fostered by his father’s emphasis on safety. As a teenager, he immersed himself in competitive shooting and gunsmithing, unknowingly laying the groundwork for his future career.

 In 2011, at the age of 21, Bryan founded PDX Arsenal LLC, determined to transform his passion into a profession. Despite lacking industry connections, he remained steadfast in his belief in himself and his goals.

 Bryan’s career began as a handgun instructor, guided by his father’s principle of prioritizing people over profit. While building his brand, he worked tirelessly, dedicating nights and weekends to his dream. Simultaneously, he gained diverse industry experience by assisting in the assembly departments of renowned firearm and accessory manufacturers like Crimson Trace Corp, Sig Sauer Electro-Optics, and Smith & Wesson Corp.

 Bryan’s true calling, however, lies in empowering others. He recognized his unique ability to connect deeply with his community, setting him apart as an instructor. He continues to forge strong relationships with his students through his locally renowned multi-state concealed carry class, which has certified thousands of Oregon residents to legally carry firearms in 38 states.

 With unwavering passion, Bryan helps students from all walks of life build confidence in safe firearm handling and operation, while also supporting their individual goals. His commitment to his students has fostered trust and loyalty, making PDX Arsenal a respected name in the world of firearm training and concealed handgun licensing, primarily through word-of-mouth referrals.

 Bryan attributes his success to God, his family, and the unwavering support of his students.
