CCW

This state-mandated course is taught by NRA and/or OPOTA certified instructors, and it meets all State of Ohio training requirements for applying for a Concealed Handgun License (CHL) which permits licensees to carry concealed handguns. It includes instruction in range safety, safe handling and storage of firearms and ammunition, live fire shooting proficiency/qualification from distances of 7, 10, 15 and 25 feet, and completion of a written test consisting of a combination of true/false, multiple choice, and written answer questions. Please note that this course is not primarily a firearms course.
