I'm Alecia (pronounced uh-lee-shuh), the proud owner of Empowered Personal Protection, LLC. I hold certifications as a firearms instructor from the prestigious USCCA (United States Concealed Carry Association) and am honored to be an official partner of this renowned organization. Additionally, I am a certified Range Safety Officer, holding certifications from both USCCA and A Girl and A Gun, I am also a certified as a pistol instructor by the NRA (National Rifle Association).

My commitment to human rights and fighting against human trafficking has led me to become a Certified Human Rights Consultant and Anti-Human Trafficking Certified Consultant. To top it off, I am also a Certified Women's Empowerment Coach.

As a self-defense firearms coach, I have a pivotal role in equipping you with the skills and knowledge necessary to safeguard yourself and your loved ones. In a world where concerns about crime and violence are on the rise, I believe it's more crucial than ever to be prepared for any situation. Learning how to handle and use a firearm effectively can boost your confidence and empower you to protect yourself when faced with a life-threatening situation. My training program is tailored to meet your unique needs and concerns, providing a safe and supportive environment where questions are not just welcomed but encouraged. Whether you're a complete novice or have some experience with firearms, my training will transform you into a more confident and capable shooter.

As a mother of three and a grandmother of five, my top priority is the safety of my family. In 2019, while living in Arizona, my youngest daughter and I faced a situation that made me realize the importance of self-defense. It was during this time that I immersed myself in firearms training, seeking the knowledge and skills needed to protect my family. I had fantastic instructors, but none of them were female. With my passion and expertise growing, I decided to be the change I wished to see – a female instructor on a mission to provide a safe haven for learning, growth, and empowerment through firearm safety and self-defense. My aim is to help individuals develop a defensive mindset, overcome firearm-related fears, and build the confidence and competence to be their family's immediate responder in times of need.

Empowered Personal Protection (EPP) was born out of a need for family preservation and to offer comprehensive training to those purchasing firearms or interested in firearm training.

Furthermore, I have the privilege of facilitating the Dayton Ohio Chapter of A Girl and A Gun Women’s Shooting League. This exclusive ladies-only organization was created by women shooters for women pistol, rifle, and shotgun enthusiasts. Our league is designed to nurture beginners and provide seasoned shooters with ample opportunities to enhance their skills.
