This Intro to Handguns course is specifically designed for those who are brand new to firearms. The majority of instruction is provided in a classroom session with laser trainers, so it's perfect for those who may have reservations. Students will have the opportunity to practice learned skills with laser trainers (LaserLyte training pistols) before moving to the shooting range.
COURSE TOPICS INCLUDE
. Definition of Handgun . The Anatomy of a Pistol . Handgun Considerations: What's appropriate for you? . Safely Handling a Firearm . Basic Shooting Techniques
This course is perfect for those who:
. have fears or reservations about firearms . are preparing to take a more advanced course . live with someone who owns a firearm . are considering the purchase of a handgun . want to ensure their children are safe in a home with a gun . are seeking an NC Concealed Carry permit without prior formal firearms training
Cancellation Policy: Firearm training fees are non-refundable. Payments are final, irreversible, and non-transferable (unless E3 Personal Defense cancels the course). Rescheduling may be considered only for emergencies with at least 48 hours notice. Only one transfer, if granted, is allowed per student per calendar year. "No shows" and late cancellations forfeit all transfer opportunities.
