What You'll Learn
A class on identifying and reacting to medical emergencies is an essential component of health education, equipping individuals with the knowledge and skills to respond effectively in critical situations. Such courses often cover a range of topics, including recognizing the signs of common medical emergencies like heart attacks, strokes, severe allergic reactions, choking, seizures, severe bleeding, poisoning, and severe burns. Participants learn to assess the situation, provide first aid, and understand when to call emergency services. These classes are invaluable for anyone, as they provide the confidence and competence to potentially save lives in emergency scenarios.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date. A 20% cancelation fee will be assessed. Students may reschedule for a later class date with a 15% rescheduling fee. No refund will be given if canceled within the 48 hours of class date.
What We'll Teach
Emergency First Aid Fundamentals
U.S. Concealed Carry Association Training is the nation’s leading firearms training and education resource, but that isn’t all we offer. We focus on learning that makes you a more responsible American and a protector of your family in any scenario. That’s why we created Emergency First Aid Fundamentals.
If you’re ready to become your family’s first responder in an emergency situation, like a car accident, serious fall, gunshot wound, or other medical emergencies, this training cannot be missed.
During this training, you’ll do more than simply sit in a classroom learning about these topics. Your USCCA instructor will work you through a dozen real-world scenarios using simulated patients and the actual products (or field expedients) that you’ll need to understand if you hope to save a life.
Lessons include:
- Patient assessment
