What You'll Learn

This course is 6 hours long and includes classroom time and range time, learning firearm safety, handling, proper grip, storage and maintenance. Students will learn the rules for safe gun handling and storage; firearm parts and operation; ammunition & components; how to load and unload a firearm; certain action types; shooting fundamentals; primary causes of firearms accidents; and cleaning the firearm. This course teaches students the basic knowledge, skills, and explains the mindset necessary for the safe handling and storage of firearms and ammunition.

This class is open to the general public. Registration is required.

Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 72 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 72 hours before the class will not be refunded.
