What You'll Learn
RAM Defense has expanded our class offerings to make it easier for everyone whether you are a beginner or a renewer! You can choose to be taught electronically / online + in-person including the range shooting component OR in-person + in-person including range shooting component. The range portion typically happens at the WLRSC Warroad gun range Event Center. You can receive training materials electronically / online and / or physical copies. Once the training is completed, we will issue you the training certificate and you can then apply to the appropriate governmental entities for your permit. This training does NOT include the actual permit nor permit fee. It can happen virtually any day / time the WLRSC Warroad range is not closed (which is rare). Cancellation Policy: Cancellations: Your choice of $25 cancellation fee per registrant per class or the money you paid being applied towards a future class within one year.

Over 1 million students have taken the U.S. Concealed Carry Association’s course offerings across the nation. Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive classroom course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. If you are new to handguns, this is a great introduction to everything you need to know to start your self-protection journey.
This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.

What to bring? NOTE: Please dress for the weather! 1. Note taking tools, e.g. pen, paper, etc. 2. Unloaded pistol (MN class) if you have one or by arrangement with instructors if you don't own a firearm. 3. At least 50 rounds ammunition (MN class) or by arrangement with instructors if you don't own a firearm. 4. Hearing and eye protection (MN class) (we will have some on hand should you need it). 5. Official government ID.
