What You'll Learn
The Concealed Pistol License class will provide students with everything that they need in order to apply for their Michigan Concealed Pistol License. Designed for proficient shooters, this is NOT a class for beginners. If you are a beginner and new to handguns, please look at taking the First Steps class.

Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive classroom course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. If you are new to handguns, this is a great introduction to everything you need to know to start your self-protection journey.
This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
What do I need to bring? -One NON magnum firearm. No single action or black powder revolvers. Minimum caliber is .22LR. -100 rounds of ammunition. Ammunition may be purchased in the store on the day of class, however please call ahead for availability. -Eye and ear protection. This may be purchased in the store. -Pen and paper (optional).
