Ari Harris

I’m Ari Harris, I have been an avid shooter for 8 years, honing my skills with firearms for the purpose of protecting myself and my family.

From 2018 through 2019 I trained at the Michigan State Police (MSP) Training Academy as a member of the 135th Trooper Recruit School. In 2019 I completed field training for MSP and worked as a State Trooper from 2019 until 2022. During my time as a State Trooper I received training in firearms, emergency first aid, vehicle close quarters battle (VCQB), Raid school, and several other disciplines. My experience as a former law enforcement officer has given me insight on the reality of critical incidents and emergency management.

Prior to my law enforcement experience, I taught Krav Maga, the hand-to-hand combat system of the Israeli Defense Forces. I became a certified Krav Maga Instructor in 2015 and continue teaching self-protection, both armed and unarmed, to this day.

I am a certified Stop the Bleed instructor, and encourage anyone who trains in self-protection to also learn basic first-aid skills.

I have a passion for teaching self-defense and self-protection skills to anyone who wants to learn to protect themselves, their family, and their community.
