What You'll Learn
MARYLAND CONCEAL CARRY AND HOME DEFENSE FUNDAMENTALS training that covers the Maryland state-required course material as well as instructor-guided range training to ensure trainees meet the gun safety; application process, and proficiency requirements. Students will leave with an understanding of carry procedures, legal issues and use of force.
Applicants for Personal Protection must shoot a course of at least 25-rounds from no further than 15 yards and score of 70% accuracy during live-fire qualifications.
This is a in-person course that requires participants to attend the class and live-range.

ON-SITE/COURSE POLICY No Ammunition, nor Firearms, including concealed firearms are allowed into the classroom, without advance approval -- which is a strict training environment. When permitted to bring firearms to class, Repeating, Do Not Bring Ammunition to class. IMPORTANT. Federal firearm transport laws U.S. Code title 18, part I, chapter 44, 926A "interstate transportation of firearms” any person who is not otherwise prohibited from transporting, shipping or receiving a firearm shall be entitled to transport a firearm for any lawful purpose from any place where he/she may lawfully possess and carry such firearm IF, during such transportation, the firearm is unloaded, and neither the firearm nor any ammunition being transported is readily accessible or is directly accessible from the passenger compartment of such transporting vehicle; provide, that in the case of a vehicle without a compartment separate from the driver’s compartment, the firearm or ammunition shall be contained in a locked container other than the glove compartment or console. All students will be required to read and sign a liability waiver prior to start of class, prior to the start of class for security reasons due to handling firearms. No Exceptions!
