Laraba ‘Lahla-Hadiya’ Castro is a distinguished professional with an extensive background in law enforcement and security. A former MPD officer, she has honed her skills in undercover narcotics and prostitution operations, specializing in closed-quarter combat, verbal judo, negotiation, and de-escalation.

With over six years in the security industry, Laraba has served in high-profile roles, including executive protection for Geico’s corporate office. Her expertise extends to physical security analysis and assessments, and she is certified in first aid and CPR.

Laraba has demonstrated exceptional leadership in program management, overseeing an average of 13 sites and managing over 300 trained guards simultaneously. As the owner, operator, and CEO of LC Safety & Security, she leads with a commitment to excellence and safety.

In addition to her professional achievements, Laraba is a dedicated mother of six, a supportive wife, and an active leader in the security ministry at her home church. Licensed to carry in over 40 states, she brings over 12 years of experience in finance. Laraba is also a USCCA certified firearms instructor and Range Safety Officer, reflecting her dedication to comprehensive security training and practice.
