Founded in 2022, Husky Firearms & Defensive Training is a provider of training and education in firearm safety and defensive tactics. The company is owned by James Stech, a USCCA Certified Instructor and Maryland Qualified Handgun Instructor with over 10 years of experience in firearms. He has received additional training from the NRA's Basic Pistol course and the USCCA Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals. Through his classes, James seeks to equip students with the knowledge needed to safely handle firearms as well as an understanding of the responsibility associated with carrying them.

"James Stech was amazing! The class overall was very informative and everyone had a great time. As a female I thought I would be out of place but James made it very comforting and welcoming. Everyone took turn answering and of course many laughers. Time did fly by pretty quick so that 8 hour class for two day wasn’t bad at all. The location was easy to find. During break there are a few quick places to grab and go to be back in time. I would recommend taking any course James offer. You won’t be disappointed!"
