What You'll Learn
The USCCA Real Estate Agent Safety course will inform and educate real estate agents on how to stay safe on the job. Agents will learn the unique aspects of their profession that put them at risk of violent encounters, how to avoid violent encounters by developing an acute awareness of their surroundings, and differentiating between “looking” and “seeing,” which is foundational to detecting threat indicators early. Additionally, agents will be introduced to the physical and psychological effects experienced during a dynamic critical incident. Real estate agents will also learn how to employ various defensive strategies to mitigate unwanted encounters before they escalate and recognize defensive options—armed and unarmed—that can be used to help keep them safe. Lastly, agents are introduced to techniques to treat various traumatic and medical emergencies.
