Course Details Upon successful completion of this course students will leave with a completed Application for Concealed Firearm Permit (CFP) documenting the completion of the course which exceeds the minimum state requirements. The Utah Concealed Firearms Permit (CFP) Course is 4 hours in duration, and covers topics including but not limited to the following: Pistol Knowledge & Safe Gun Handling, Handgun Mechanisms & Operation, Ammunition Knowledge & Fundamentals, Firearm Care & Responsibility Regarding Children & Unauthorized Persons, Home Firearm Safety, Selecting & Safely Maintaining Firearms, Shooting Fundamentals, Concealed Carry Basics, Introduction to Federal Firearms Law, Introduction to Utah Firearms Law & Administrative Rule, Legal & Civil Aspects of Firearms Ownership, Utah Concealed Firearm (CFP) Application Process, and Continued Opportunity for Skill & Development Training. Once this training is completed, applicants have 1 year to submit their application with Utah BCI. Safety must be first and always. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Individuals prohibited by State and/or Federal Law to possess a firearm and/or ammunition are prohibited from registration. This course is designed for any experience level, and applicants do not need to have prior knowledge or experience with firearms before registering. Once registered, students must bring with them:
- Valid Driver's License or State Issued Photo Identification The State of Utah requires residents of certain states to have a valid concealed carry permit or license in the home state in which they reside in good standing prior to submitting an application for the Utah CFP. This includes: (1) Utah CFP Certified Training Course (2) Physical Utah CFP Application (3) FBI FD-258 Compliant Fingerprint Card (4) Applicant Fingerprinting (5) Applicant Passport Size Photograph (6) Certificate of Course Completion (7) Addressed Envelope to BCI. Seating is limited, and applicants are required to reserve their spot by submitting Payment In Full using the link below. Reserve your spot now! Disclaimer All sales are final, but may be transferred to a future training date with approval from Delmarva Defense LLC given proper advanced notice. Individuals and/or groups of individuals who do not show up for scheduled training and fail to notify Delmarva Defense LLC at least 48 hours in advance to reschedule, may not be refunded or guaranteed registration in a future class. In the rare event of unsafe weather conditions or circumstances outside the control of Delmarva Defense LLC, the course may be rescheduled for a future date as soon as safely possible. Once registration is secured, a post-registration email containing detailed course information will be sent within 24 hours to the email account used during the checkout process. If the post-registration email is not received within 24 hours, please check your SPAM folder. Registered participants are required to review, sign, and adhere to the Delmarva Defense LLC Liability & Hold Harmless Agreement provided in the post-registration email. The credentials received upon successful completion of this course are for submission with the applicable concealed carry permit application of choosing. There is no guarantee applicants will be approved by the state or issuing agency for a permit. Permit reciprocity, Federal, State, and Local Legislation is subject to change.
Cancellation Policy: In the rare event of unsafe weather conditions, acts of God, or circumstances outside the control of Delmarva Defense LLC, any course will be rescheduled for a future date as soon as possible. If you have a situation that would prevent you from attending, please notify Delmarva Defense LLC immediately. Those who do not notify of their cancellation within 24 hours of the start time will not have the option to transfer payment toward a future class and will not be refunded. Persons prohibited by law to possess a firearm and/or ammunition are prohibited from attending any course. You must be 18 years of age or older to attend any Delaware CCDW Course, 21 years of age for any Maryland Wear & Carry Course, HQL Course, or Utah CFP Course. For safety reasons, those who are pregnant should not attend any course containing a live fire component. Thank you.

This lesson explains what physical and mental reactions may occur when a human undergoes extreme stress, such as during an incident involving deadly force. It also explains what you should do immediately after using force to defend yourself. Also, when law enforcement arrives, it is crucial that you conduct yourself in the correct manner and prepare yourself for the consequences, even when you are in the right.
