What You'll Learn
A vital part of the decision to employ a use of force to defend yourself and your family is to know the legal principles involved. Not being competently trained in this area puts you at legal and financial risk. Topics in this interactive session include: --The Reasonable Person Test --Reasonable Force --The Use-of-Force Continuum --How Prosecutors Evaluate Your Case --Defense of the Home --Defense of Property --Interacting With Police and the Court System

Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded. **FOR DEFENSIVE SHOOTING FUNDAMENTALS/BASICS, AR-15 DEFENSIVE FUNDAMENTALS/BASICS, and CERTIFIED INSTRUCTOR TRAINING: Due to the limited number of spaces for each session, Students are required to cancel at least 2 weeks in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 2 weeks before the class will not be refunded.

In this lesson, Michael Martin will cover important legal topics, including the laws governing the legal use of force inside and outside the home. Within this lesson, you’ll get a chance to test what you’ve learned, using several real world scenarios with you as the actor.
