What You'll Learn
You are the first line of defense. Learn about the most popular rifle platform in the United States, and how to operate it effectively and safely for defensive purposes. CLASS INCLUDES A SERIES OF SIMULATED SHOOTING DRILLS USING ADVANCED MANTIS LASER SYSTEM IN THE AR-15 (YOUR OWN, OR ONE OF OURS!) Gain an understanding of the usefulness of the AR-15 through this in-person classroom learning from one of the USCCA top certified Training Counselors. --Safety, History, & Popularity --Parts and functions --Fundamentals of marksmanship & Efficient operation --Verifying "Zero" --Round trajectory & Mechanical offset --Accessorizing, Maintaining, & Cleaning --Support gear --Around the house and Personal defense --Storage options --How to improve --Transitioning to the range --Non-live fire/laser shooting drills
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded. **FOR DEFENSIVE SHOOTING FUNDAMENTALS/BASICS, AR-15 DEFENSIVE FUNDAMENTALS/BASICS, and CERTIFIED INSTRUCTOR TRAINING: Due to the limited number of spaces for each session, Students are required to cancel at least 2 weeks in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 2 weeks before the class will not be refunded.

Getting Started with the AR-15
Classroom only; instructor-led PowerPoint presentation highlighting the history and popularity of the AR-15; parts, features, and functions; overview of cleaning and maintenance; accessorizing the AR-15; and basics about using the AR-15 for home defense.
