Gain confidence to be able to act as a first-responder rescuer whether you are alone, part of a team of people, or how to take the lead to orchestrate others.
Course is compliant with American Heart Association 2020 guidelines for CPR and ECC. Satisfies requirements of OSHA'S First-Aid standard 29 CFR 1910.151(b).
Topics covered: --Statistics regarding cardiac emergencies --The Cardiac Arrest Algorithm --How to recognize cardiac arrest --Establishing a team leader, and... --Seven things a team leader should do --Providing high quality CPR --Adult and infant CPR included --Retrieving and using an AED --How an AED works --Preparing for the arrival of paramedics

Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded. **FOR DEFENSIVE SHOOTING FUNDAMENTALS/BASICS, AR-15 DEFENSIVE FUNDAMENTALS/BASICS, and CERTIFIED INSTRUCTOR TRAINING: Due to the limited number of spaces for each session, Students are required to cancel at least 2 weeks in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 2 weeks before the class will not be refunded.
What We'll Teach
Save a Life: Restart the Heart
Students will learn how to identify sudden cardiac arrest including checking breathing status and for a carotid pulse, how to perform chest compressions, how to use an AED, when and how to perform rescue breaths, and what to do when paramedics arrive on the scene.
