What You'll Learn
This course teaches the beginner or first-time pistol owner the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning, operating and managing a firearm safely. Course consists of two-hours of classroom lecture & presentation and two-hours of practical live-fire exercise on the shooting range.
Cancellation Policy: Tuition fees are non-refundable. Any student who is unable to attend a class will be moved to the next available class.

If you are new to handguns, this is a great introduction to everything you need to know to start your self-protection journey.
This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
Students can bring their own firearms and ammunition to class. Ammunition and rental firearms are available for an additional fee to any student who needs them (see our web site at www.americanshootersclarksville.com for current rates). CLASS FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. If you cannot attend a class on the date that you originally scheduled, we will move you to another date.
