What You'll Learn
This 8-hour class is a comprehensive training course designed to educate individuals on the laws and regulations surrounding the carrying of concealed firearms, taught by an Idaho Licensed Attorney, and essential topics such as the use of force, firearms safety, and the proper handling and storage of firearms.
The classroom portion of the class is followed by a live fire range session where students should expect to fire approximately 100 rounds of ammunition. Students will practice shooting from the holster, malfunction drills, shooting from cover/concealment and moving and shooting.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.

Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive classroom course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. If you are new to handguns, this is a great introduction to everything you need to know to start your self-protection journey.
This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
A minimum of 4 students is required to run the course. Classroom portion will be conducted at Wright Brothers Construction - 70 N. Short Rd, Eagle, ID 83616. Class starts promptly at 8:00am. Please do not bring ammunition into the classroom – you should bring your handgun and two empty magazines. We will break for lunch before driving to the range. Range portion will be conducted at the Gem County Rod & Gun Club - 3600 E Main St, Emmett, ID 83617. Things to bring: handgun of your choice, 100 rounds of ammunition, a good holster that fits your handgun, 2 empty magazines, and a good belt to hold your holster in place. You will also need ear and eye protection, as well as, layered clothing appropriate for the temperatures and a hat.
