"Charles gave us a tremendous amount of information in a tangible format. I enjoyed doing the hands-on activities where we simulated an actual emergency and acted with the knowledge that we gained earlier in the class. It was a great way to find out how we would respond during a real traumatic event. In addition, it was a great team building experience. We learned so much about the triage requirements. It was helpful to know how to prioritize who to treat first in the event of a mass casualty. I was very impressed with the Automatic External Defibrillator technology. It let me know that I could use the apparatus confidently. I am looking forward to attending the next class and continuing to improve my proficiency. I recommend attending these classes with a friend or family member so that you have someone who you can practice your skills with in the following days. Charles was a very knowledgeable instructor and took the time necessary to explain each technique in order to ensure that each participant understood what to do, and how to do it safely. "
