Whether you’re new to firearms or looking to refresh your skills, this class will equip you with the knowledge and confidence to handle firearms responsibly.

What You’ll Learn:

The rules of firearm safety and proper storage Georgia gun laws and TSA travel regulations The parts of a pistol and their function How to safely load, unload, and fire a handgun

Course Structure:

Presentation Core Firearms Safety Rules Georgia Gun Laws and TSA Regulations Gear and Gadgets for New Shooters Firearm Nomenclature and Terminology

In-Person Experience: Shooting Fundamentals Live Fire Practice

What’s Included: Electronic ear protection, safety glasses, targets, ammunition, water, and rental firearms. You’re welcome to bring your own firearm and protective gear if you prefer.

What We'll Teach

Self-Defense Firearms Basics

This lesson will introduce you to a wealth of information on different types of self-defense firearms including handguns, home defense shotguns, and the AR-15 platform, where Michael Martin provides easy to understand explanations of the common terms used so frequently. The goal of this lesson is to de-mystify what can sometimes feel like a topic reserved for experts.
