As part of the “Women’s Handgun and Self-Defense” (WHSD) Explorer Academy, this Track is focused on Being Responsibly Armed, the Carry Mindset, Defense and Use of Force in dangerous scenarios and Marksmanship versus Defensive Shooting. Explore more practical details with this 2-Hour Classroom Track / 1-Hour Range Track regularly offered at best value with the $399.99 WHSD Academy, but also $174.99 standalone.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.
What We'll Teach
Women's Handgun & Self-Defense Fundamentals
With three distinct modules, this course is designed for those who are brand new to firearms and those who are ready to learn more about defensive shooting.
Basics and fundamentals will be introduced, reviewed, and then built upon, while also exploring:
- Situational awareness
- Common types of handguns
- Ammunition types, malfunctions
- Firearms handling skills
- Defensive pistol fundamentals
- The use of deadly force
