What You'll Learn
The Defensive Handgun Fundementals course serves as a great 'hands-on' starting point beyond the classroom. Are you ready to learn the gold standards in defensive shooting and build the foundation of your proficiency with your handgun?
This class is the perfect transition for those who have taken their state concealed carry permit or license classroom training or for those who live in a free Constitutional Carry State and have decided to exercise their right. It's time to take that gun out of the nightstand or the case from when you bought it and learn how to use your handgun.
With a focus on the fundamentals of defensive shooting, shooting mechanics, proper handling and manipulation, and most importantly draw and firing from a holster. Reptilian Response has put together a course that will take you from 0 to Hero building confidence in your ability to carry your firearm.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.
What We'll Teach
Defensive Shooting Fundamentals
This lesson will continue with the basics, including a very visual overview of what we call the “building blocks” or the fundamentals for accurate and safe shooting. Within this lesson, Michael Martin will explain the differences between the skills required for being a good “marksman” at the range, and the skills that might be required to save your life if you are ever the subject of a violent attack.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
*Students are required to have hangun, atleast 200 rounds of ammunition and 2 magazines, a concealed carry holster (Kydex only) AIWB or OWB or a Kydex or retention holster with duty rig/battle belt. Red Dot optic is preferred but not required.
