The course is a guide to understanding conflict avoidance and situational awareness; shooting fundamentals; the physiology of violent encounters; the legal aspects of using deadly force (including knowing what to do in the aftermath); and a complete guide on gear, gadgets, and ongoing training.

Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive classroom course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. If you are new to handguns, this is a great introduction to everything you need to know to start your self-protection journey.
This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.

The FL Concealed Carry Lic. is NOT valid in: WA, OR, CA, NJ, MN, IL, NY, DC, NYC, MA, CT, RI, MD, HI Attendees are encouraged to bring their own firearm and ammunition for the live fire portion of the class if they have them but it is not required. *Note: Unless otherwise specified, range fees are NOT included and are the responsibility of the student.
