Congrats on taking the first step towards becoming a responsible armed American! Having the proper attitude and mentality is the most important component in firearms safety and preparedness. ECS Defensive Training exists to teach the concept of self-awareness as a constant state of mind, so that together we can all reduce the everyday risk. We are happy to mention that we use and complement our training classes with the same mentality of martial arts. Through specific and tactical training, we can help you achieve a higher level of proficiency by incorporating a systematic and detailed training program from basic firearm handling to intermediate and advanced techniques, including home defense and everyday self-defense. The objective is to build upon those blocks and increase one's confidence level. Our training and experience is led by our Head Instructor, Ed, who is a former police officer and whose formal education is based in engineering and business.
