What You'll Learn

This class is great for those looking to build a solid foundation for personal defense and protection training. The class incorporates situational awareness, self-defense firearm basics, overall fundamentals, an overview of the legal use of force as well as what to expect during and after a violent encounter in order to develop the mindset needed for concealed carrying and self-defense. A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $25 must be paid at least a week prior to the scheduled class date in order to reserve your spot. Remaining balance is due at the beginning of the class. If something happens and you are unable to attend your scheduled class date, your deposit will remain valid and allow you to reschedule for a future class within six (6) months.

Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive classroom course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. If you are new to handguns, this is a great introduction to everything you need to know to start your self-protection journey.

This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.

Additional Notes from Your Instructor

Cost includes textbook to take home as well as range fees. There is lots of class discussions, so please bring a lunch. You will have access to a microwave and refrigerator. We will be working through lunch. Water and light snacks will be provided.
