UNARMED SECURITY CLASS-D COURSE

This state required 42 hour course is provided Monday-Friday In-Person and Online. Weekend classes are available at 772-595-5335.

This Unarmed Security course provides:

The state required 42hr course by Florida DI Licensed Instructors

You'll learn the conduct, job duties, responsibilities, procedures & protocols of a security officer

The applicable laws, rules, and liabilities

The use of force matrix that will guide all your decision making as an officer

Identify the necessary tools required & practical excesses in using them

Managing emergencies, threats, and evacuations

Completing the appropriate forms and reports of security details

Review how-to's of patrolling, crowd control, and event security

You will perform practicals with a crime scene, 2-way radios, using a security wand, traffic control devices, event security bag searches, and more

Receive extensive training in first-aid, safety awareness, emergency preparedness, and terrorism

Learn the behaviors, manners, and tone of special needs individuals and how to work with them
