What You'll Learn
This is a great beginners class, or just want to know more about firearms. We discuss much of the terminology, sizes of firearms, and what classification they fall under. We also talk about the ammunition. Everyone will enjoy learning something new that they may not have known before.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.
What We'll Teach
Self-Defense Firearms Basics
This lesson will introduce you to a wealth of information on different types of self-defense firearms including handguns, home defense shotguns, and the AR-15 platform, where Michael Martin provides easy to understand explanations of the common terms used so frequently. The goal of this lesson is to de-mystify what can sometimes feel like a topic reserved for experts.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
The classroom is located at Rural King in an upstairs classroom. The stairs are located across from the rest rooms. It's not fancy... but we love it! During this class you may purchase Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals book if you would like - the internet price is $55, you can buy it from us for $30.
