Anthony Torres

PROFILE My journey with firearms began at a young age. As the son of a military veteran, I was introduced to firearms early in life and taught to respect and appreciate all the opportunities that hunting and sport shooting offer. These lessons instilled in me a deep enjoyment of the outdoors and the camaraderie that comes with hunting and shooting alongside like-minded individuals. As an adult, I have cherished the moments spent hunting and shooting with my children. Passing on my knowledge and passion to them has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my life. Together, we enjoy family time at our ranch in New Mexico, where shooting and hunting have become cherished traditions. Over the years, I developed a strong passion for long-range shooting and reloading, which has deepened my appreciation for the precision and skill involved. More recently, I have embraced the exciting challenge of 3-Gun competitions, which has become a favorite hobby. To further share my expertise, I earned certifications as an NRA and USCCA Instructor. Currently, I am employed by the Longmont Public Safety & Boulder County Sheriff Training Center and operate my own business, T3 Firearms Training LLC. Apprenticing with an elite instructor has been an incredible and enriching experience, allowing me to refine my teaching methods and deepen my understanding of the discipline. What I find most rewarding is guiding inexperienced shooters and watching them grow in confidence and skill. Helping others discover their abilities and fostering a safe, enjoyable learning environment is what drives my passion for instruction and mentorship.
