What You'll Learn
If you're new to firearms or are looking to become more comfortable with pistol, or if you're interested in trying something new and acquiring a new skill, this course provides an ideal starting point.
OVERVIEW
This comprehensive course provides hands-on training and the basic knowledge necessary to safely handle, load, fire, basic marksmanship, and maintain most types of California semi-automatic pistols. Range time offer ample opportunity to achieve the skills for success in a casual, stress-free environment.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
None - Beginners welcome.
COURSE OUTLINE
Responsible firearms ownership and applications of the handgun
Firearms safety training for range
Safety concerns and practices while training
Safe use and handling of firearms
Potential dangers (penetration, accidental discharges, etc.)
Ready positions
Components and operation of modern pistols
Types, components, and purposes of modern ammunition
Applicable laws relating to the possession, transportation, and storage of firearms
Administrative loading and unloading of pistols
Classes starting at 10:00am will run until 12:00pm.
Classes starting at 01:00pm will run until 03:00pm.
Cancellation Policy: **Cancellation of Scheduled Appointments** When you reserve an appointment, a specific time slot on our calendar is allocated to you, making it unavailable for other patrons. Out of consideration for your fellow peers, we kindly request that you promptly notify us if you are unable to honor your scheduled appointment. Please note that we do not offer refunds. However, if you provide us with a minimum advance notice of 72 hours before your intended cancellation, we will credit your payment toward a future class (to be used within 60 days).
