At LAProgressiveShooters.com, we specialize in teaching people who are new to firearms, or who have shot before but never taken a formal lesson, in a welcoming, inclusive space that is non-intimidating and non-judgmental. With our methodical step-by-step approach to demystifying what firearms are and how they function, we make sure you have a firm foundation on safety, and understand the fundamentals to be able to shoot accurately and consistently. More info at laprogressiveshooters.com.
We use Glock pistols that shoot both .22LR and 9mm ammo. Students start with .22LR which has very little recoil, and is less intimidating when learning to shoot guns for the first time, and then methodically work their way up with confidence to 9mm. Because we are inclusive of students of all abilities, we also introduce students to red dot optics, the latest technology, making aiming and shooting less frustrating, especially for folks who wear progressive/bifocal lenses.
$40 range fee not included and is payable to Burro Canyon Shooting Park.
Cancellation Policy: Due to high demand for our services and limited availability of the teaching facility, all payments are NON-REFUNDABLE but may be used towards another class, if notice of cancellation is given at least 72 hours before the scheduled lesson.
