Steve Harbottle

My name is Steve Harbottle and I am honored to be a USCCA Instructor. I am a retired sergeant from a large Southern California sheriff's department where I served in several capacities from custody, patrol, homicide, traffic and narcotics. In my retirement I have been blessed to be able to train several hundred civilians in the proper use of firearms, as well as, emphasizing the requirements of being a responsible firearms owner. While I was employed in law enforcement, I was able to work with several officers to help them qualify for SWAT assignments or just improve their overall marksmanship. My philosophy towards firearms is, unless you are prohibited from owning firearms, you should own them and TRAIN with them. To that end, I emphasize real world training principles to bring out the best in you. I am not training you for military work or to be the next John Wick. I am training you to be prepared and equipped (legally, morally and skill-wise) to protect yourself and those you love.
