What You'll Learn
A half day of pistol shooting drills led by former military and law enforcement instructors will significantly sharpen student gun handling, speed, and accuracy from the holster.
Course Outline While instructors in this course will formulate an agenda and course of fire based on the needs of the students, drills and techniques will include:
Handgun Selection Considerations Support Equipment Considerations and Placement Review Fundamentals of Shooting (Proper Grip, Sight Alignment and Picture, Trigger Control, and Follow Through) Loading, Unloading, and Reloading Presentation of the Handgun from and to the Holster Static Shooting Positions Single Hand Techniques Move, Stop, and Shoot Multiple Shots Multiple Targets
Cancellation Policy: You may request to cancel your ticket for a full refund, up to 72 hours before the date and time of the event. Cancellations between 25-72 hours before the event may be transferred to a different date/time of the same class. Cancellation requests made within 24 hours of the class date/time may not receive a refund or a transfer. When you register for a class, you agree to these terms.

Defensive Shooting Fundamentals - Level 1
Over 1 million students have taken the U.S. Concealed Carry Association’s course offerings across the nation. The Defensive Shooting Fundamentals class can be taken by anyone of any skill level. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced shooter, you will walk away from this course a better protector of yourself and your loved ones.
You will learn the concept of balancing speed and precision to begin the course, understanding your individual limits, the importance of accurate hits to target, and ability to quickly engage with a target.
