Attendance does not guarantee that you will be certified. If you do not meet the standards of the evaluations and practical exercises, you will be offered training and educational opportunities to help you complete the course successfully. Prerequisites: Acceptance into the course by training counselor Completion of the online e-learning Fluid firearms handling and safety Understanding of basic defensive firearms skills Required Equipment: Professional, instructor-type clothing. No ripped or torn jeans, ragged clothing, or sloppy appearance A notebook Pens and highlighters Eye and ear protection A quality defensive handgun (preferably in 9mm or better) 200 rounds of ammunition (minimum) A quality waist-mounted holster, made specifically for your handgun that can be concealed under clothing on a Strong Belt (No duty or competition belt rigs. no button release Serpa style holsters), 3 magazines, magazine pouches, or pockets to keep in 5-10 dummy rounds for your caliber gun Water and snacks, lunch (working lunch) Proper footwear and clothing for the classroom and range A positive attitude and the desire to become the best instructor possible. CANCELLATION POLICY You may request to cancel your ticket for a full refund, up to 72 hours before the date and time of the event. Cancellations between 25-72 hours before the event may be transferred to a different date/time of the same class. Cancellation requests made within 24 hours of the class date/time may not receive a refund or a transfer. When you register for a class, you agree to these terms.
