This hands-on survival course equips students with fundamental skills for thriving in outdoor environments. Emphasizing practical techniques, the course covers:
Fire Starting: Techniques for building and maintaining a fire using various methods, including friction and flint-and-steel, and understanding fire safety.
Water Collection and Disinfection: Methods for locating and collecting water, and essential techniques for purifying and making it safe to drink.
Shelter Building: Strategies for constructing durable shelters using natural materials and tools, suited to different environmental conditions.
Food Preparation: Skills for cooking and preparing meals over an open fire, including safe food handling and effective use of cooking tools.
Through interactive demonstrations and field exercises, students will develop practical survival skills essential for outdoor adventures and emergency situations. Ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, campers, and anyone interested in basic survival techniques.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.
