What You'll Learn
This class is meant for lay rescuers who want to be better prepared to respond to the sudden cardiac arrest of family members, friends, or the general public. Students will receive a certificate of completion but it does not meet OSHA-mandated or other regulatory workplace requirements.
Students will learn how to identify sudden cardiac arrest including checking breathing status and for a carotid pulse, how to perform chest compressions, how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED), when and how to perform rescue breaths, and what to do when paramedics arrive on the scene. Students will also participate in multiple scenarios.
Participants must be at least 13 years old. Participants aged 13-18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who is also enrolled in the class.

Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.
