What You'll Learn
This course is designed for those that are new to firearms and want to get familiar with them before or after their first firearm purchase. The class will cover basic firearm fundamentals. This class is a live fire class ;however, this class includes a dry fire range session. Instruction will include the universal safety rules, proper firearm etiquette, stance, grip, sight picture, sight alignment and trigger control. The student will gain familiarity with a pistol in a safe and controlled environment. Discussion will also include proper firearm selection for those who have not purchased a firearm yet.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.
What We'll Teach
Self-Defense Firearms Basics
This lesson will introduce you to a wealth of information on different types of self-defense firearms including handguns, home defense shotguns, and the AR-15 platform, where Michael Martin provides easy to understand explanations of the common terms used so frequently. The goal of this lesson is to de-mystify what can sometimes feel like a topic reserved for experts.
