I would be very grateful for the USCCA’s community to offer me some help to pass along to my wife.
I carry a Glock 19, 9mm, 3’o clock position just fine. My wife feels that is just too much gun for her to hide and be comfortable dressing around. She has decided after much thought that she wants to go with a Ruger LCP 380 in an ankle holster.
She is very athletic, trim, medium to tall, and active. What would you all recommend in the way of an ankle holster for her? I have never done much research into ankle holsters, so I am confident that you all can give me some excellent ideas. Because she is extremely detail-oriented, please do not hesitate to give extensive advice, reviews, personal experiences, and pointers. That will be maximally useful.
Hello. I’m at a bit of a loss. I took some reloaded .45 to the range Friday, and it fired and recocked my friend’s vintage 1911, as well as my Sig P220, but it didn’t eject the casing. I used the search function and discovered that several people have been using Clays at the recommended 4.5 grns without any apparent issues. I was loading 4.7 grains of Universal Clays with 185 grain .45 projectiles. Did I pull an idiot maneuver and do something wrong, or did my powder get messed up somehow? I’m at a loss.
Anyone have any thoughts on this? I’m still new enough to reloading that I’m hoping that I gave enough information for replies.
