Pistol Works Better Than Restraining Order

A Billings woman learned recently that pistols are better at protecting her than a restraining order when her ex-boyfriend came to her home in violation of a court-issued protective order. When the woman refused him entry at the front door, he went around back and kicked open the rear door, forcing his way in. The woman pointed a pistol at the intruder, who promptly fled the premises before any shots were fired, leaving the woman unharmed. He was picked up later on felony burglary warrants.
