CCM Profile: David Lichtenstein
"I will not be a sheep ..."

David Lichtenstein was born in St. Louis, Missouri and moved to Pennsylvania in his early teens, moving back to Missouri after high school to work on his family's farm. He's worked in Oklahoma on oil drilling rigs and in Pennsylvania for the railroad. During college, he again ended up back in Missouri, working in factories and cleaning houses. He graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism in 1991 and married his wife, Lesa, that same year.

Outside of firearms, David's hobbies are pets and motor vehicles. He and his wife have several dogs: Margo, Bocephus, Little Bit, Gracie and Lucky who are mixed breeds; Zoe and Gus who are Boston Terriers; Maggie, a Boxer; and Tanner, a German Shepherd. They also enjoy . . . keep reading

Sophie ChenThe Evolution of a New Shooter
Oleg Volk
Sophie ChenThe Evolution of a New Shooter Throughout her life, Sophie Chen has endeavored to do right by others. A biochemistry researcher by education, she also volunteers extensively. Since 2000, Sophie has taught English in Mexico, tutored English as a second language (ESL)to Persian and Iraqi refugees in Nashville, and conducted Sunday school for kids. A sunny, cheery young lady, Sophie sees the best in all people she meets. Her view of personal safety had been equally positive. She was quite safe, she told her friends. "Besides," she wrote, "I already have the sword of the Spirit and the armor of God." Her friends concurred, either sharing her conviction or deferring to her certainty. . . . keep reading
CCM Profile: Joshua Benson
CCM Profile: Joshua Benson The most remarkable thing about Joshua Benson is the words he doesn't say. In a world full of whiny emo-boys and latte-sipping cowards, a man who never utters the words "I can't" and who never asks for a drop of sympathy is a refreshing change.

I met Josh for the first time last spring at the Firearms Academy of Seattle, during the last course Jim Cirillo ever taught. Cirillo's class was a two-day adventure into close quarters shooting techniques, including alternative sighting methods and shooting from downed positions. Josh wheeled himself in . . . keep reading

CCM PROFILE: Bill Robinette
CCM PROFILE: Bill Robinette Bill Robinette is no newcomer to firearms. When he was eight years old, his father started teaching him how to fire BB guns and .22-caliber rifles. By the time he was in his early teens, Bill had acquired a .410 bolt-action shotgun for bird and rabbit hunting. Shortly after graduating from his Detroit high school in 1968, Bill enlisted in the Marine Corps and did a tour . . . keep reading

CCM Profile: Carina Burns Randolph Recently I was at the pistol range giving a lesson to a client on how to shoot in a deadly force situation, i.e. how to shoot rapidly and accurately. Someone began shooting in the bay next to us while I was explaining proper trigger control . . . keep reading

 TESTIMONIALS
Here's what our members are saying ...
"Your website and magazine have many helpful articles and most importantly, an opportunity to hear from like-minded people who take self protection seriously. For many of us that carry it has been both an "evolution" from thinking about carrying to a full-time commit-ment and a "revelation" that we can enjoy freedom to protect our loved ones from attack.
Norbert Quenzer
Delmar, NY

U.S. Concealed Carry addresses absolutely every self-defense issue of concern to intelligent Americans today, provides vital information regarding products, services and organizations relevant to concealed carry and communicates critical self-defense information.
William M. Splawn
Irmo, SC

I am writing to express my complete satisfaction with U.S. Concealed Carry. I find your no-nonsense, real world focus, to be a refreshing change from other gun publications. I found the CCM Profiles to be especially good. It was good to see other concerned citizens speaking out on CCW matters. It makes the rest of us feel less like “gun nuts” and more like a community of concerned and squared away citizens.

Just a quick note to let you know that I really appreciate what you are doing and the courage it has taken for you to be “just a regular guy” who cares enough to do something worth doing! You are to be congratulated for your commitment and your convictions. Both have motivated me to do all I can to “spread the word” and to “protect our rights.”
