Recently, I happened across an article in the local newspaper about the devastation two women had experienced at the hands of the same violent criminal. One victim was attacked in the parking lot of a local university where she was a vice president. The criminal threatened her with a knife and demanded her purse and car keys. She gave him the keys and purse while pulling away from him. Running in high heels, she screamed for help as vehicles passed by and the criminal drove off in her car.
